Who We Are

Dundrun International Scout Campsite is a local campsite of Scouting Ireland attached to Tipperary North Scout County. Scouting first used Dundrum in the 1986 through the kind permission of Coillte. With a firm hand, a watchful eye and energetic enthusiasm Charlie Sullivan and his merry band have created what is a world class facility. Here is an article from the Corkman newspaper of August 2009:

Thursday August 27 2009

MACROOM Boy Scouts summer camp took place from Sunday, August 9, to August 16 at Dundrum International Scout Centre.

The weather was mixed but it did not spoil what was a very successful camp. The highlight of the week was the trip to Killaloe water centre where the scouts spent a very enjoyable few hours kayaking.

Other trips/ activities included visits to Mitchelstown caves, the Rock of Cashel, fishing and orienteering.
